Mrs. Alagammai Karthik

Alagammai Karthik is a talented artist with a vibrant energy that translates beautifully onto her canvases. After pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), she boldly followed her true passion and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) specializing in Painting. Further, she has honed her skills further by pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at The Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalitha Fine Arts & Music University. She is currently pursuing Ph.D in Fine Arts.

Alagammai’s artistic expertise lies in the expressive blend of acrylics and the detailed precision of charcoal techniques. This combination allows her to create stunning multi-colored paintings that burst with life and emotion. Her work is often inspired by the bustling energy of everyday life in India, capturing the beauty and complexity of its people and culture. Presently, she’s exploring the realm of fluid art, captivated by the organic flow of paint that this style offers. Her work is also influenced by modern art, adding a contemporary touch to her creations.

Alagammai’s work has garnered recognition at international and national exhibitions held in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Coimbatore. Her meticulous nature and unwavering determination are evident in every brushstroke.

Karthik Lakshmanan
M.Sc., Counselling Psychology, M.Phil., (Psy. Onc) SET (Psy.)

A Counselling Psychologist by profession, he is also the founder of Chennai Counseling Services and CCS Academy. With his expertise and leadership, he plays a pivotal role in guiding the administration and vision of the Ini Institute of Fine Arts. He actively shapes curriculum design, institutional outreach, and student empowerment initiatives.

Chidambram Muthukumar
CA, B.Com - Professional Accounting

Chidambram Muthukumar is a Chartered Accountant by profession, bringing extensive expertise in financial management, compliance, and strategic planning. He has been mentoring the Ini Institute of Fine Arts by overseeing accounts, payments, and financial activities, while also advising on budgeting, resource allocation, and long‑term growth.

Ms. Sujitha V has done her B.Sc., and M.Sc., Psychology. She has also done her LLB. She is a multi-tasker and has good organizational skills. She is working from home for Ini Institute of Fine Arts as the Admin Manger.

Narmadha G is a Bachelor of Fine Arts – BFA graduate in Painting from the prestigious Government College of Fine Arts, Egmore, Chennai. She guides students in developing their artistic skills and creative expression.

Her artistic practice is driven by a passion for creating expressive and meaningful paintings that reflect emotion, creativity, and visual storytelling. Through her work, she explores color, composition, and texture to create artworks that connect with viewers. She remains committed to continuous learning, artistic excellence, and inspiring others through the power of art.

 

Nikitha
Bachelor of Fine Arts - Specializing in Ceramics

Nikitha is a BFA graduate specializing in Ceramic Arts, Resin Art, and Anatomical Composition from the prestigious Government College of Fine Arts, Egmore, Chennai. Her work is shaped by a deep engagement with the technical and philosophical transition from two-dimensional concepts to three-dimensional forms. By working primarily with clay and resin, she explores the “internal architecture” of structure and form. Whether she is transforming her detailed skeletal studies into ceramic sculptures or experimenting with the fluid, glass-like qualities of resin, her practice reflects a strong understanding of material behavior, transformation, and visual depth.

Beyond her studio practice, she is passionate about art education and the development of creative thinking. She views art as a language that blends technical mastery with personal exploration.

Devi P
Masters in Fine Arts – Spl. in Painting

Ms. Devi. P is a passionate artist with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts (Painting) from Tamil Nadu Dr. J Jayalalitha Fine Arts & Music University. She did her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Traditional Painting from Prestigious Mamallapuram Government College of Architecture & Sculpture. She enjoys creating artworks that blend traditional Indian art with modern styles. Her experience includes Tanjore paintings, Agama‑based deity paintings, portraits, landscapes, and wall paintings. She has worked on commissioned artworks and customized designs for clients. Devi is also skilled in printmaking, textile design, and traditional architectural drawing. Her artworks have been exhibited at the Lalit Kala Academy, Chennai, and featured in the Dina Thanthi newspaper. She believes that every artwork should tell a meaningful story while preserving cultural heritage. Through her work, she aims to create creative and timeless art that connects with people.
