Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Is the certificate valid?

Yes, it is a recognized and valid course. Ini Institute of Fine Arts is registered as MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise) under Central Government of India. Our Registration Number is UDYAM-TN-02-0047265

2. How to do registration? How to choose a batch? How to pay via GPay? Can we come in person to pay in cash when we come to attend the class/workshop?

Registration can be done online by Clicking the button “Register & Pay” in the webpage of the art classes. You don’t have to come in person.

When you press the button, it will ask your basic details such as name, phone number, email id and choose the weekday or weekend batch. Please mention the medium in additional info text box for the monthly classes.

You can pay through Gpay, PhonePe and other UPI Apps manually to 8144194035 for which you will be selecting “Already Made Payment Option” If you want to use Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, Wallets via PhonePe Payment Gateway.

If you want to come in person and see the place, please inform well in advance before coming as we are working on appointment basis only. Thus the place will not be open all the time. We will give you a timing to visit the place. You will be making payment in the website only. We do not accept any cash payments.

3. Will it be practical?

Yes, it will be completely practical. We use shapes to teach the drawing and painting. We do NOT simply ask students to copy and colour. We will teach them step by step slowly so that they learn to draw fully.

4. What if I miss some classes? Will I be able to compensate?

-Please look at your / your child’s availability for all the classes before registering for the next month classes.

-If your your/child is going to miss more than 2 classes due to travel or exams or some other reasons, please make payment for the number of classes your child is going to attend via GPay or other UPI apps to 8144194035 manually and send the screenshot to +91 7305040394 on or before 1st of Every Month. Razorpay will accept the full amount only.

If you make payment of 1600 but you/your child may miss some classes, please note the following:

-Maximum 2 compensation classes will only be given per month.

-When you/your child has missed 1 or 2 classes, by staying for extra half an hour on the class days of your batch within that month cycle should be done to compensate the missed classes. If your child wants to come on some other days for compensation, please inform us and attend the compensation classes in one of the timings – 4 PM to 5 PM and 5 PM to 6 PM. Please note that Friday is a holiday for the institute.

6. Can we have a free demo class?

No. Currently we do not provide any demo class. In the past when we provided a timing for demo class, people did not come on time or they did not come at all. Our time got wasted because of that. We request you to visit the centre when classes are happening and you may be able to observe how the classes are taken.

7. Why should we pay the fee in advance?

Yes, it has to be paid in advance. In the past when we collected fee after the month is over, many did not make payment and we were not able to pay our teachers. We had to take money from our pocket to pay them. Thus, we have decided to collect the fee in advance.

8. Will you provide materials?

No, we do not provide materials for monthly classes. Please remember to contact the admin manager for the materials required. For some workshops, we will mention that material will be provided.

9. The timing you have given are not suitable to us. What to do?

Please see whether you can fit into the timings given on the website. If that is not at all possible, please save our number 7305040394 and tell the admin manager to add you to broadcast list through whatsapp text. You will get all the information related to our classes. Whenever your timings fit into our timing, you may choose to join.

10. Will there be any refund or adjustment to another workshop?

No, we will not provide any refund. For workshops, we would have bought materials and if people cancel suddenly, the materials bought would go waste.

11. Which medium will be suitable for my child?

If your child’s age is below 7 and does not have any prior training in drawing/painting, it is better to choose oil pastel.

If your child’s age is 7 years and has a prior training in oil pastel, please show the drawings. We can consider to give training on poster color. In some cases, after one month of training in oil pastel, we will transfer them to poster color medium.

If your child is aged 8 years and above, we can give training in the mediums of poster color, water color, color pencil and pencil shading.

 If you child is aged 12 years and above, we can give training the mediums of acrylic paining, oil painting, water color (advanced level), pencil shading and color pencil.

12. What is the training background of the faculty?

All our faculty are
holders of 4 years Bachelors in Fine Arts specialization in Painting in full
time mode.
